It’s coming up to that time of year again!
Fast becoming a firm fixture of our calendar, Scooterists For Heroes is hitting their 3rd year at the Adam with their biggest line up to date.
Headlining the charity shindig are Birmingham legends THE MOVE! Noted for having been the first ever record played on Radio 1, The Move is a much loved, highly regarded local heroes and we can’t wait for them to top off the day!
Plus, there’s an amazing line up of mod bands playing live all day including:
- The Skabucks
- The Sha La La La’s
- Tommy Gun
- Welcome Pariah
- Rain
- Craig Lennon
- Mrs England
- Mods & Sods
Plus there’ll be DJs all the live long day so the party won’t stop!
After raising £3701 for Help For Heroes last year we’re looking to smash that total again this year!
Pub Tropicana’s Back.
Pub Tropicana may now be few and far between but that hasn’t diminished the party! Their May party was so much fun, can’t wait for the next!

If you don’t know who he is, here’s a little about the man
Howard Marks is a Welsh author, raconteur and ex-international drug smuggler. Notorious for his audacious exploits in the 70′s and 80′s, Howard avoided the grasp of international law enforcement for two decades, while building one of the biggest smuggling rings in history. The law finally caught up with Howard in 1988, whereby he served out seven years of a 25 year sentence, before being released in 1995.
Immortalised in his best-selling autobiography and film ‘Mr Nice’, this counterculture icon now authors crime novels and speaks publicly, talking to rapt audiences about his amazing experiences - drawing on his wealth of experience ranging from growing up in South Wales and his time at Oxford University, to incarceration at America’s toughest federal penitentiary….and now he’s coming to the Adam!
